The hard part with financing is getting the house to appraise.. whether you go FHA or Conventional appraisers can really give you a hard time on a HUD home depending upon the condition, so make sure you do a thorough walk-through and identify any potential problem areas (peeling paint, smoke detectors, plumbing or electrical repairs, etc..) prior to selecting financing if possible.

I followed the instructions exactly and it peeled off within the year.I prefer one-piece tub/shower combos as others have mentioned, but these often don't fit through the existing doors.

Typical stuff they pick on like peeling paint, a missing screen (which tenants remove all the time) and things of that nature that don't affect the tenant's life and they haven't complained about.
