I assume that my tax basis would be high (and beneficial for depreciation and upon sale), but i would not have the interest deduction.  

Another area that would be beneficial would be our local HIREI, they meet every first Thursday of every month.

If the landlord has not expressed any willingness to mutually find a resolution, you may be better off letting this one go. 

I haven't signed any contracts yet, but wanted to hear from some investors on whether wholesaleing land is as beneficial as wholesaleing actual Real Estate, and if so, how would I go about drawing up a contract?

Some will say it is not worth it, however learning the process could be beneficial. 

I don't have a problem with people interviewing me, were ultimately both just trying to figure out what info the other has and how can a relationship be beneficial for both.

I own a few properties in Ga and TX and am looking forward to growing more--however, I think it would be beneficial if I network with other like-minded individuals.  

I'm leaning away from this deal, but I feel that being an insider is beneficial, I just don't know how to take advantage of that so everyone can make some money.
