It sounds like you are far ahead of your peers who racked up massive loans and rented luxury one bedroom apartments downtown while begging the government to bail them out.   

Just use it a little bit and pay it off at the end of the month. some people get crazy with credit cards but dont. it can be dangerous esp if u rack up some crazy amounts like i have.

Without doubt, the house will bring more money in a short sale, and they will rack up fewer fees than letting it go into foreclosure.

Now, was it my intentions almost a decade ago to rack up debt and pay it off at 30%... absolutely not! 

I currently drive a 2011 scion XB with a roof rack. 

People who are getting evicted don't usually have money for a locksmith, and have already racked up a decent sized debt that they're unlikely to ever pay.
