This is not the way to get started.There are many people who have made millions but have hardly any worth (Jay Z, Tony Gwynn (National league batting average award is appropriate named after this great player), Rollie Fingers (one of best relief pitchers of all time), Pete Rose (all time hits leader).

They'd likely both absolve responsibility for certain things and there will be grey areas where finger pointing could occur if something goes wrong.

Do I just tell the listing agent my offer is $115k (cross my fingers) and to send me a contract?

You're competing with the luxury buildings that are popping up everywhere now, some with amenities.I finished reno on my property here in June of last year, haven't gotten any tax increase yet (fingers crossed).As for your next deal, I would agree Heloc is probably a better way to go rather than a refi for the reasons mentioned by @Jaysen Medhurst.
