Hello all,I would like first to thank you all for this forum because it is very instructive.Here is my story:I am an F-1 visa holder on OPT (optional practical training), and my employer sponsored my H-1B application. it got picked up but I am still waiting for the approval.Lately, I've been reading a lot about RE investment, wholesaling, rental properties, fix and flip... and I got hooked.

It works good for them because if we roll into bank in 6 months, we use there funding again, and they can actually have an 18% return on their money in 12 months being "first lean holder" to secure their money.

If in an S corp and the stock holder gets due, a creditor can attach the stock of the S corp...thereby taking control of the entity that holds the RE.

But if you're doing things like selling items, having users create profiles, things that would make you the 'holder' of your users personal info (especially credit card stuff), I'd get with someone that knows about websites and the legal implications.
