In addition to Yonkers (which I think is about 10-15 years away from really exploding in value, but the signs are there now), I've had my eye on Peekskill, and Port Chester, which is closer to your neck of the woods.

But curious if anyone has any recommendations for ADU build options (pre-fab or contract) for our neck of the woods.Thanks!

@Jennie W. ask the GCs if they have a wholesaler they use, out in my neck of the woods there is a company called Best Cheer Stone, they have pretty decent quality countertops and cabinets and they are really affordable, all the GCs that know what they are doing and work for institutional clients use them.

I don't want to put my neck on the line and then be in a position where I paid too much, it doesn't appreciate the way I had hoped, and I have a problem finding quality tenants.

Not sure what labor rates are in your area but probably around $750-1000 in my neck of the woods for labor.
