New member and investor north Chicago and southern Wisconsin

Hi there! My name is Jade and I am new to investing. My main priority starting off is to rebuild my credit. 

I never paid much attention to my finances before, and y’all can probably guess where that led me lol .. 

I currently live in the U.P. of Michigan, but born north of Chicago, which is where I plan on investing to start. 

I spent about 15 years living in Northern California and plan on going back,back... within 5 years. 

Real estate will get me there !  My other background is in construction and demo. My father is a contractor in the Midwest 

and I worked with him for many years. I also have several contractors in my family, so I am sure to have extra help and 

whatever tools I may need.  I have been looking at single and multi family homes around the IL/WI border. I would like to 

use the BBBR/F concept to get my business going and then I want to get into apartment buildings. My grandparents had a 

building when my dad was young and my grandmother loved it. Because they had the foresight to buy properties we have 

several in our family trust. I hope to find some help from the people here on my journey. I am sure to make some new 

friends too, which is quite important to me. I love life and want to share it with others. ❤️
