@Dan Krupa , If I am not mistaken I do believe that if someone ever files a mechanics lien you can in turn request that they perfect the lien (which I believe is another way of getting this matter before a judge) once you make this request it will be up to the party who filed the lien to prove (at their own expense) that their lien is justified.

You can in fact buy multiple properties using the VA loan as long as each was your primary residence at the time of purchase and both are under your maximum VA loan amount which is $417,000 for the majority of America and even higher in select counties with high cost of living.
