My suggestion to you is to get pre-qualified for a mortgage so you know exactly how much you can borrow and thus tailor your investment.- Using Home line of credit is fine but keep in mind this counts towards your debt when lenders assess your maximum borrowing capacity.I would tend to agree that Calgary, Edmonton and surrounding areas are probably the safest bet in this economy.There are cash flow deals out there for sure if you know where to look.
