Unfortunately, I was mobilized by the Navy for 15 months shortly after that, and never had a chance to get as far as finding a good CPA in the area and getting established with them.

Employment is solid here w/ the Navy bases at Bremerton and Bangor, plus lots of healthcare jobs AND the techies and others coming from Seattle and the Eastside.

My ADU is in Hawthorne, right by the Navy Base. 

My husband is active duty Navy. 

Go online and look at Oak Harbor-- It's a Navy town so you have many move in and move outs but the prices on duplexes and 4 plexes will get you close to your numbers.  

@Maya Torres - I rented for the first 10 months after the Navy brought me to Hampton Roads.

Navy Federal Credit Union - they're great if you're able to be a member.  

These two provided large packets with comps and projected numbers.The other 2 are referrals from my mortgage broker (Navy Federal) who are from nearby towns but are part of the big realty groups (Coldwell and Century 21).

The D.C. area is so transient really anywhere should work, the military also pays an insane per diem on mtr, I had a friend who was on assignment and rented a 2bd condo in navy yard for like $7500 a month (I was paying $2700 for a long term for context) they also unrelatedly gave him like a $100 food budget or something per day, this dude ate at every michelin star restaurant in the city lol.

When I was in the Navy we usually had 6-7 guys renting 2br places; half of us were out to sea for 6 months so usually there were only 2-3 people maximum in the place at any one time anyway.
