If the area is saturated with STR's for example cabins in the Smokies or say SFR's in Myrtle Beach the appraiser will calculate using STR income.All of that being said, there may be some banks/lenders that are more sensitive to STR's and they may have additional rules on top of the general Conventional guidelines.
