As I said, a good, high-quality company will be  firm in their mission statement and will know exactly what value they bring and why they are in business.  

They are based in Charlotte and have a great team and mission.

Mission has an area known as Sharyland (a school district) that attracts families because of its reputation.

I'm checking with the Foundation Community of Olympia, as well as the Olympia Union Gospel Mission.  

So we have to be diplomatic and tactful in our responses and, even though it's what I'm always striving for, I could have done a better job in this instance.

Be a man on a mission. 

We travel, take daily walks together, attend church, assist at the Phoenix mission, garden, hike, keep up on the latest issues, have lunches and dinners with friends, attend family events and sit and stare at the stars.

As noted by Michael and Greg above, risk tolerance is important, so equity or debt, pay back structure, timeline of investment.I would approach it more as a fact finding mission (soft ask at first). 

Personally I do not desire to invest my life, my energy, my money into something that is a 'mission' without financial benefit. 

I was so close to buying a a 1900 Spanish colonial mission style church to convert in 2011.
