The challenge is that we took on CC debt for the remodel and our scores dropped a good amount in the last 6 months.

Due to the nature of this type of renting, the guests are from out of state mostly so CC are the easiest way for them to pay.

Venmo is owned by PayPal so essentially the same thing.If a guest is using a credit card, they have all the protection they need really.Maybe look at one of the CC processors like Stripe or whatever than can just use the number with out the physical card.

If you don't have much of a credit history to speak of, I would start working on that now.Perhaps adding your name onto your parents CC, having then cosign for you, etc.It is very important in this business to have excellent credit.Sure, there are things you can do, if your credit is "shot", like birddogging & such, but I can tell you it makes thing much easier if you have excellent credit.Brian

If you use a Business CC to by a property and the Credit Card earns Cash back or travel points do you have to pay personal taxes or taxes though your LLC?

They also wreck your credit by putting out all those CC applications, so when you go to refi, you're going to have a lender asking why you applied for so much credit.
