The first one is buying an education with some cash flow, loan pay down, appreciation, and tax benefits, as the icing on the cake.

Capital gains are the icing on the cake.

I still enjoy the words of another before I make an offer.The past inspections are just icing on the cake, if you can get them and speak to the inspector personally.

Maybe the Anaheim/Orange area, La Habra is also another one that is growing and homes are still "affordable" compared to most of OC. 

The appreciation in cities like LA, Long Beach, and Anaheim is always going to be there and it's always going to be steady (in my opinion).

Icing on the cake would be if the asset value grew over the next 7 years as well.

@Katelyn Staehely Sounds like you might want to consider moving......you may not want to but you can't always have your cake and eat it too....Plenty of good areas around the country where you can have your dream come true.

Appreciation should only be icing on the cake IMO.
