They are gobbling  up every inch of space possible to develop projects.

I patched and painted over some smaller stud holes and it looks decent, but these are a few inches in diameter.

From the State of Wisconsin website, which is what the city of Milwaukee uses: The nominal size of the net clear window opening shall be at least 20 inches by 24 inches irrespective of height or width.

They currently vent a few inches from the ridge vent.  

A super low roof will be at least 1/12, which mean one inch slope for every 12 inches. 

The minimum net clear opening height shall be 24 inches (610 mm).R310.1.3 Minimum opening width.

we just had a snow storm, everything was shut down for a day or two. would have been nothing to you colorado folk but in oklahoma 1 inch is a blizzard.

imagine while your doing it the grass is going to grow the dirt level 2-3 inches higher in a year or 2Best if you can work WITH neighbors etc to make it the best for all involved.
