It probably has a 1/4" screw you need to remove, pull it out and gently clean with sandpaper.

You need to use twist-on wire connectors that use a special antioxidant paste to prevent corrosion of the connection.

But people want to take that question, twist it around, run with it, and immediately jump straight down the rabbit hole.

I think every state has a different twist on this one..
