I've searched through my entire pre-licensing course and I couldn't find anything.In Florida, is it illegal for a licensed real estate agent to receive a referral fee from an unlicensed buyer or seller for bringing them together?

Totally normal....Just remember.....ANYONE can be a "contractor"...... no real skill....no formal training......many are unlicensed etc etc etc.

That kind of talk would make good evidence against you in an unlicensed-practice-of-brokerage prosecution.To do a brokerage deal, you must have a brokers license or be a licensed salesman and be affiliated with a licensed broker.
