To get those hours, maybe turn one or two into medium term rentals (you want the average stays to be over 7 days so they don't fall into STR status) which would give her more to do, particularly in the first year of furnishing them and getting everything set up.Alternatively, she maybe she could manage the properties but also get her RE license and try to sell a house or two a year - go to lots of open houses or run them for other agents?

Some may require a waiting period of one to two years before leasing is permitted, while others may prohibit rentals entirely as outlined in their bylaws.Always know the property’s potential for annual rental income and ensure the numbers work.

I currently live in Tennessee and I have a possible opportunity to in move to the state of New York for a two-year work-related contract come the summertime.

I am currently contracted to a large major energy company and I work a 2 week rotation in West Texas, so two weeks on and two weeks off.  

If the drywall cracks in the next year or two, or the doors start to stick, then you likely have a larger settlement issue going on, and will likely need to call a foundation repair contractor. 

So first, can you do this without the other two partners or with just one of them?
