Keep in mind, unless you pay the contractor to live there during renovations, your upgrades will probably get stolen while they work on the place.

Naturally I don't want to to put my property in jeopardy or put myself at risk for being accused of receiving stolen property.

There is only so much of an employee discount on merchandise that you can give out :)

My personal preference is one that I can lift as opposed to having wheels since I load it in and out of my work van every day so it does not get stolen.
