Wholesalers don't buy houses, so unless they also do flips and rentals, a contractor giving free bids to them is spinning their wheels.I have a project now, I am having a hard time getting subs to bid it.

There was a time in the 70s the nation was in massive recession but due to mainly defense spending SoCal was still very bullish and prices doubled while the rest were in a tail spin, especially places like NYC were looking very bearish.

My dad is a contractor and he works on some of the condos they have in Boston proper and the prices are enough to make your head spin.

All this content is great, but truly will have your head spinning between deciding, markets, flips vs buy and holds, multi-family, student etc etc. 

And guide you in many other ways during the transaction.Having said that, if you're going to throw out a bunch of lowball offers hoping one of them sticks, then the Realtor is just spinning his wheels, and probably won't want to work with you.
