I updated the kitchen from original 1980's stained wood cabinets and laminate countertops by reconditioning the cabinets (white, slate, and gold), hand-pouring a white with black marble-type epoxy over the existing countertops, installing white subway tile with black grout, and removing a large section of cabinets and replacing them with floating shelves.I also added a 250 sq. ft. bedroom by heating and insulating the three-season room/office.What was the outcome?

I despise laminate and 'cultured marble' vanities.

We are in the DFW area now but buying property in the hill country to build a home in the next few years (near Marble Falls). 

I know they have to but what fl. statue or other evidence can i reference to support this claim?

I'm not sure if they are loosing there marbles and if I should step in and offer a difference of opinion or offer reassurance.

I am looking to invest in out of statue single family rental property which will cost between(150k-250k).

If currency goes to heck - and the new currency is marbles - I feel someone, will pay me marbles to live in my dwelling.  

They range from the tenant looking his marbles completely and putting a bullet through his brain, destroying his credit and his chances at getting Section 8 by refusing to move and going through an eviction, disappearing in the night and leaving all of his stuff in place including the 60 pounds of readymix Quikcrete he put down down the basement clearout as a parting gift.Anything that allows a tenant to divorce himself from unpleasant realities that will eventually come back to haunt them is not a good thing.
