Cancun is an easy flight from our hometown, we've visited those areas many times and my wife's family is from Mexico so she speaks Spanish.Question - are there opportunities to buy in an all-inclusive resort?

I can see tourism up its one of the most cost effective warm places to go that you can get to in 3 to 6 hour flight.. took me 6 hours from Seattle non stop.. 

There's a direct flight from Santa Barbara, CA to Dallas, TX, which allows me to invest out of state.  

Whether is a drive, or a flight, doesn't matter.

Driving 20 minutes to be on site is far different than needing a 2 or 3 hour plane flight to get there.
