How about Hillsboro?

Otchi Gal
Posted

Hi all,

My name is Otchi and I am a newbie to the DFW area. I am looking for buy and hold, preferably BRRRR.

I found some leads in Hillsboro and I would love to have your opinion on the town.

Thanks :)

Hello Otchi,

Hillsboro is located between DFW and Waco. However, I would not lump it in with either market. The city has been going through growing pains in the past decade or so. I don't see too much commercial stuff going on up there to justify an influx in renters or rental rates. You would be safer doing a BRRRR in cities closer to DFW, inside Waco/Hewitt, or down in Temple.
