In construction your plans are your Bible, so you need to know how to locate any discrepencies, locate answers to questions froms trades, understanding "Take-offs" with your materials, and be able to visualize in a 3D space what the plans are describing.

In Franklinton there are plenty of large projects going on that will bring massive growth to the west side of Columbus, such as the Peninsula Development, which is a multiphase project that will erect a 24 story apartment complex featuring a grocery store, a multi use office space building, and a new hotel featuring a two-story venue. 

The truth is very few of their coaches and staff members have much experience in the space at all.

So my question is how can/should LPs verify the lip service GPs give on their experience and handling of this space? 

This year id love to partner with some people in the area and make the jump into my first commercial deal.What challenges have you seen in the commercial space vs smaller residential multifamily?

They were more expensive, but really know what they are doing in the STR space and we were much more confident with their proposal than the cheaper one we got from our usual broker who had less experience with STRs.
