But these are all just guesses...If you google 'Bob Quick foundation', he is a great non-biased 3rd party structural engineer in KC who can give you an accurate diagnosis...cheap date too at $200 (last I checked). calling him would be the first thing I do.

It seems that the big fear is that an unforeseeable future diagnosis is going to come along and either not be covered by insurance, or result in that individual no longer being able to qualify for relatively affordable premiums. 

Did you already get a diagnosis of what the actual problem is?

I also have a bit of a personal connection with your diagnosis - my mom was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis when she was 28 and is now 50, so I grew up around that.

Everything in my life has changed over the last five years due to the diagnosis and treatment of a chronic illness.
