What I'm leading into more of this is, for people that talk on the podcasts about having a million dollar net worth, and champion the BRRRR strategy and staying leveraged....so essentially they have over 5 million in assets, but 4 million in liabilities, roughly, if they're staying leveraged?

But I was just discussing with @Brendan Lawrence just last week, that now with a certain amount of wealth, maybe it is time to shift towards taking on some more risk in the portfolio after getting over a hump of a getting to a net worth with a certain comfort level.

@Dave Lawrence - I feel like I had talked to penfed back in 2015 and from what remember they dont do HELOCs on a rental condo which is what I have in SF so thats why I couldnt go with them but I could be wrongThanks for the reminder on penfed.

@Mohsin Mazhar If you're looking for cash flow or have your entire housing expense paid in a house hack, the only areas north of Boston that really have a chance are in Lowell, Lawrence, and maybe Lynn; Unless you can find a rare deal requiring a ton of rehab (and another investor doesn't snatch it up from you).
