I just listen to biggerpocket episode 956, this is an extreme example, but it is what I am seeing here in DFW currently mainly with new investors that don't want to work with an agent.

I'm new to the Bigger Pockets online community although listening to one Bigger Pockets podcast episode is what kicked off my original investing journey many years ago!

I recently listened to episode 976 of BiggerPockets Real Estate Podcast where the guest was explaining how he invests in mobile homes.

We just spoke about that on the last episode of the Straight Up Chicago Investor Podcast. 

In one of the podcast episodes, I remember them saying that if you are trying to avoid raising rents too high on an existing tenant, you are better off renting at the full amount you can and then giving them a discount on the rent.

It is episode 972. 

Just listened to an interesting episode of the Bigger Pockets podcast with @josepha and it got me thinking about investing in a section 8 rental properties in more expensive markets, particularly my hometown Los Angeles.

I forget which episode of the podcast it was on but someone mentioned that they had ID badges made for their apartment complex and went around to local businesses to see what types of discounts or promotions they could offer their tenants when they showed their ID badge at checkout.
