That same plumber is far more likely to catch COVID from someone in a public space or from a customer that was infected but unaware.

Triclosan has shown some alterations to bacterial structures, but it is not as widely available any longer.Triclocarban is very common and highly antimicrobial but again, there isn't a lot of data about long term resistance.Anyways, a typical human is exposed almost constantly to viruses, bacteria, phages, fungi etc that you really don't have much of a chance of not building up immunity over time.
