Turns out the the electrical company was repairing a down line and once it was restored it sent a huge surge to the electrical panel.

I have had to advise customers that the small addition to their house , when pulling a permit will trigger the inspector to make them add fire sprinklers to the whole house , hard wired smoke alarms , upgraded electrical panel , plant 15 trees . 

Turns out amazon sells some little filler panels.

It appears to be some kind of faux brick panels, but not sure.

If you install it anywhere near your electrical panel it shouldn’t cost you more than $200-$400. 

@Bjorn Ahlblad - i contacted the insurance company and ask how i could get my rates, one building was knob and tube wiring, I installed 3 x 200 amp SquareD panels my self.

Also, check the electrical panel and amt of juice per unit. 

You can buy these little meters that attach to your sub panel, if you want to know how much elec the unit is using.
