Until interest rates start rising, or there is a huge downturn in the economy resulting in massive job losses, Canadian banks and lenders will continue to fuel the real estate fire - by dishing out loans on extremely overvalued properties.  

Here is what we put in our move out letter, which may be helpful to build on:Specifically, here's a list of items you should thoroughly clean before vacating:[ ] Floors[ ] sweep/mop laminate floors[ ] vacuum carpets and rugs (shampoo if necessary)[ ] mop kitchen and bathroom floors[ ] Walls, baseboards, ceilings, and built-in shelves[ ] Kitchen cabinets, countertops and sink, stove and oven--inside and out [ ] Refrigerator--clean inside and out, empty it of food[ ] Bathtubs, showers, toilets, and plumbing fixtures[ ] Doors, windows, and window coveringsPlease don't leave anything behind--that includes bags of garbage, clothes, food, newspapers, furniture, appliances, dishes, plants, cleaning supplies, or other items that belong to you.For move in, put all info in the rental agreement.  

Almost all furniture, clothes, food, dishes were left behind.

Mainly it's a matter of ignorance and simple curiosity in the small towns (population 95% white) around here.As one small example, one of my best friends is South Korean and she's gotten a lot of dumb questions - including one or two people asking whether she speaks English.

You need to get in front of things like cleaning, dishes, mowing the lawn, shoveling snow, etc.

You know, vacuum the floor, do the dishes, scrub the toilet. 

I wouldn't be that cheap to forego it. 3x the glassware and dishes based on occupancy max.

I much prefer the dish washers vs Bosch.

My parents use Dish for internet but I would not recommend them either.
