I suspect she is staying at the rental property without being on the lease.After more than a month, dad finally relented  and made mom submit an application to be added to the lease.During Background Check, I have uncovered 2 issues.

Other half probably could have been left alone BUT while I have the guys tearing it out might as well do the whole thing so we start fresh!

Be Pro-Active, fix it as soon as possible, you are going to have to fix it later on down the road anyway, so might as well just do it while it's fresh on your mind. 

If the top market units are fresh and redone expect to get big push back from the long term tenants with the tired and worn units.

All the seminars are back in full force so these agents get a lot of fresh seminar graduates calling them when the guru leaves town.  

You will likely uncover a lot of deferred repairs after you own it.Roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty on this one, it might prove to be worth running it through the calculator!
