If you are merely a silent investor, you may have options.

My taxes are $8,000 (I fight/contest my taxes every year).  47% of rent collected goes to my silent partner Cook County. 

Travel still largely silent other than logistics travel.  

Normally they just look at you like a deer in the headlights, go silent and completely stunned.
