Does not look like it’ll get rented anytime soon despite being the lowest priced comp around there.

I'm currently working through my credit card company since they provided email proof admitting their data is old, at least in the two states I am working in. 

Build a good track record and strong credit, as these can help you negotiate better terms.

I always associated the background/credit check with them being on the lease, but I guess this doesn't have to be the case. 

Lender 2 offers 6.5% with a 1 point credit (you the borrower are getting 1 point from the bank for taking a higher rate) but then they are charging 2 points on top of that as their compensation.

I would check with your local bank for opportunities to get a line of credit - I wish those things existed in the private lending world, but they are non-existent for the time being.

If I have a boyfriend and girlfriend who are both applying to be tenants, one qualifies and one does not (low credit).

Try and use a small Local Bank, or even a Credit Union for any Loans.

I don’t care about people’s credit history.
