The property was listed with a workshop, in taking a look I noticed it was separately metered, had plumbing and sewage hooked up and was looking good as a candidate for an ADU conversion. ~630 sq/ft.I've confirmed that it meets the requirements for the city and have appointments with teams to discuss plans and get bids for the conversion project.

I'm looking for workshops, mentors, and associations in the Northern, VA area that have training or experience in real estate investing.

Hey Dan - The workshop on Sunday with Avery and Luke Carl is sold out, however, we do have breakouts for STRs and of course, tons of folks who are in the STR investing business will be attending which is a great networking opportunity! 

Back in the 70s and 80s Jimmy would give 3 hour workshops to real estate groups and charge $39 per person - and always donated the proceeds back to the real estate club!

i don't regret having taken the real estate course, because it all contributed to my foundation of real estate knowledge.then i took some classes and workshops, and after about the 5th one, i decided enough classes--now i have to formulate my action.all along for the past year or more, i have often driven to a great reia association that's about 3.5 hours away. i, too, live in a rural area, so i don't have the luxury or convenience of a local reia.for me, i think its all about balancing, and finding the pieces that work for you.
