As tempting as it as to save costs and do it ourselves, in our case doing so seems penny wise and pound foolish. 

To be fair, my agent was working in residential and pivoted to commercial a few months ago (I am a "legacy" client so to speak) but you are right in the sense that he is not "pounding the pavements" to find properties.
