What do you want success to look like in 1,3,5 years? 

I, too, have worked with a very successful physician/investor, who formed an S-corp to hold all of his investments in the chance he was subject to a malpractice suit.  

Real estate is easy to get into, but it's challenging to be successful.

I am semi retired at age 44, I sold my franchise business 1 year ago and have a very good idea of what it takes to operate a business successfully. 

I honestly feel like the juice is worth the squeeze in STR/MTR and may even continue this strategy as I find myself to be more adaptable and capable of performing.

Are there success stories? 

Give it a try for two consecutive projects and see how you perform by project 3..... you will be surprised how such a small tweak to your budget can impact the overall project performance.
