Not sure if anyone is reading this topic anymore but if someone stumbles on it, I know I want to know how things turned out instead of a topic just being abandoned, so I'll satisfy that curiosity.

Although I'm totally green to real estate investing, I have spent the last nine years of my career doing a combination mortgage origination's and residential real estate sales (7 years in lending, 2 years in real estate).I stumbled upon BP through a couple of Google searches and couldn't believe the information and resources that are made available within the online community.

I was doing my homework and due deligence on becoming a real estate investor when I accidentally stumbled on this site about three weeks ago.

I just happened to stumble across this because somebody voted on my initial post, otherwise I would not have noticed your comment.In any case, I've only purchased one property at auction and as was described above the "Amount to be Raised" value is the loan amount (possibly plus some fees/interest) that the bank is owed on the property.
