@Jeff Prow It would be hard to get rental income on this specific property before leaving as my wife is working overtime and we have pets, stuff etc.

I have read that it can be a chore to get through the rigamarole, especially around the revenue stuff. 3 and 4 plexs are supposed to be hard, but I haven't checked so run it down.

What are other stuffs that needs to be taken into account?

If you even come close to considering this stuff you need to research so so much!

Obviously, stuff like; paint, new flooring, new kitchen cabinets, etc. 

You can probably go in and sand the tub down to remove all the lose stuff, then renovate once they are out.Have you considered refinishing the tub?

Simple stuff that an electrical company’s apprentice can knock out may be $40 / hour, while a master electrician may be 4x+ that, say for rewiring an electrical box or a 3 phase system for your Tesla.

I'm currently trying to figure out some stuff regarding general contractors licensing.

They pay the full amount when they arrive.
