It will come by ACH, not check (you should've sent in direct deposit docs with the others).If I were in your shoes, I would email the caseworker, the bookkeeper and the supervisor daily until I get a response with a clear resolution.

Typically not.Now of course, if you had a walk in inspection, you could go a different route, by just fixing everything needed, deducting the security deposit, providing the tenants with the statement of the charges, and move on, but try negotiation first before flexing your landlord muscles.

I guess I just worry about people setting up 3rd party ACH payments with my account info (ex. utilities), but as you said people have that info all the time when I write checks.
