To the extent that a price reduction may make a "stale" listing appealing, worry not, you will get those notification emails on auto pilot anyways.Start doing the compare and contrast, maybe make a spreadsheet to evaluate opportunities, play a game of "spot the patterns."

She is new to the mid term game and i don't have any managers that specifically have people that work with insurance companies or possibly nurses and whatnot.

@Peter Kuck I spent a few hours on this a couple of years ago and found that no one was willing to dip below the 75-80% LTV mark (accumulative 1st and 2nd lien) which I imagine would be even harder in this environment.If you find anyone, would be a game-changer!

If you don't already own a home yourself, I always suggest house hacking as this gets some skin in the game, but also allows you to learn hands-on and offset your mortgage payments.

That will have a lot to do with the discrepancy you are seeing in price.Treat every market you go to with the same principle as the game monopoly.

My fervor and desire to jump into the game and become financially free was quickly deterred by people telling me I needed to get through school and start making money before I should get into REI.

I think she is just trying to dominate me or has a very entitled personality.I am just glad it's a month to month lease and when she realizes I am not playing this game anymore then hopefully she either stops or she just moves out.I just needed to know I wasn't being unreasonable here.
