I'm contemplating registering myself and my husband for the training in August but just can't pull the trigger.

I’m contemplating on whether to get my real estate associates degree or just my certification which would take less time but I am looking into getting into commercial real estate so I’m not sure if getting my associates would be much more beneficial any answers from any current real estate agents would be appreciated thank you

This whole deployment I've been listening to Bigger Pockets podcasts and while I prefer SFR's, I'm contemplating a duplex.However, returning home from this deployment for me, actually means returning to Japan where I'm stationed.

With the increased financial capacity, I could purchase my new home there.On the other hand, I am contemplating whether I should double down on my efforts and focus on carving a path into the commercial real estate sector, which is my ultimate goal.I would greatly appreciate any advice, ideas, or suggestions you may have regarding my situation.

i appreciate the response ...nothing illegal is being done, i just know that there are so many tax deductions, write offs, and breaks that one could use....money earned is hard to keep if you dont have any major write offs or deductions...here's my scenario and why i was contemplating offshore. i am in the process of forming either an llc or s-corp, i was told that those might be the best options for just 2 50/50 partnes in real estate. the next shelter that was proposed was to creat trusts in which we are managers and be paid our salaries thru the trusts. maybe someone can help, if i get a 750k paycheck next week, i dont have any kids, what is the best way to keep most of it????

I was talking to a close friend of mine here in Austin last week and we are contemplating a monthly meetup group to educate folks on alternative asset classes, non-correlating, that provide a more holistic approach to building durable life long portfolios  So much of magazines, financial advisors talk only of stocks, bonds and annuities.  

Also contemplating not getting an apartment and going even bigger maybe a 1.5 mil duplex triplex in a more visited part of the island.
