I’m contemplating on whether to get my real estate associates degree or just my certification which would take less time but I am looking into getting into commercial real estate so I’m not sure if getting my associates would be much more beneficial any answers from any current real estate agents would be appreciated thank you

@Joseph Quezada I took many real estate courses at one university before transferring to the University I graduated from. If I had stayed at the original university I would have ended up majoring in the real estate degree and gone into a real estate related field. Those courses proved to be the only real courses that I have used from my time in college. I used other stuff from that time, just not things like Calculus 3 or Astronomy. Lol

I don’t know you need a degree unless you want to go into real estate development or something for a large company in a big city. I think likely just your real estate license would be just as beneficial. The only way I would change my mind is if you live really close to the school, love learning, and just have a bunch of money and time to spare taking the two years worth of courses or however much time it would take. I wouldn’t take out student loans to do it.
