Plaster is already thicker than drywall, so when you go to install pre hung doors you have to add strips of wood that you cut out to go around the framing.

We are planning to buy multi-family units and are trying to find things as close to neutral or positive cash flow as possible (we are aware it can be difficult to find cash flow positive deals in CO at the moment with high property values and rents that don't equate)- So... our plan is buy properties that may need a little work, put in the work, bring rents up as much as possible, find quality tenants, and repeat.

We will be able to have the available unit furnished, with a fresh coat of paint and other touch-ups, but the kitchen, bathroom, and deck would still be outdated.

As noted, we get their Zero VOC option, which tends to skew higher end within the line, but we also end up using almost half as much on major color changes (read: it covers very well in one coat).
