GP's receive fees (acquisition fee and asset management fee) + some "sweat equity".Lot more that goes into it, but that's high level.I've syndicated 10 deals so far, I love the model!

The business model I like today regarding multifamily 10 units plus is that with the type of long term, fixed rate financing now available in the commercial space buying and holding for a steady income is a sound choice.

Model the portfolio over time with projections for appreciation, rent increases etc., don't assume that paying off mortgages is the best way to generate cash flow.
