Aren't STRs banned in South Lake Tahoe now?

Unfortunately, according to the realtor, the HOA just passed a resolution banning STRs.  

There's a full ban on non-owner occupied STR permits inside city limits. 

Let your tenants know - in writing - this is a temporary ban on evictions.

We need more landlords like you telling their story to politicians as to why these bans harm people. 

I see Belmar’s code says you need a license from the town to rent your house for less than 175 days a year, but after a quick search I’m not immediately seeing any regulations specifically banning Airbnb

It might be a matter of time before they are banned completely.

They could ban large bills like they did in India.

Relocation fees, rent caps, eviction bans, free legal help for tenants, cashflow is no more guaranteed than appreciation but the cashflow apostles treat it like it is.

It is very plausible that short-term rentals in may areas may be banned for another 3-6 months.Locally here they have a target date to reopen of 6/19, but I would not be surprised at all if it was pushed back a few months, if the re-opening of some central states results in a spike in cases and deaths, as I suspect it will in the coming weeks.
