closing next month on my first City of Atlanta property.

This got me thinking there are probably other items we need to upgrade in a mountain STR.So here's my question for those with experience in the area: What other items or upgrades do I need in a mountain home STR that are not obvious to a newbie/city dweller?

The city does not allow more than 2 dwellings per lot but I am very curious if this is something the city would allow.

The 4th ward rentals are mostly owned by absentee landlords who treat getting citations from the city as a to-do list for bare minimum upkeep.

In Maryland for example Baltimore county and baltimore city are run by different offices with different rules. 

Right now and the last two years buying distressed in very good pockets of cities have been the best deal in my opinion.

You may also consider Cincinnati, which is one of my favorite cities.

Plus, most if not all of WV is considered “rural” even our cities.
