First the (presumably, out of state) underwriter must be educated on the fact that there is a state called California, and within that state is a county called Alameda, and within that county is a city called Oakland, and within that city there is a city council, and periodically that council has passed various ordinances, etc etc.

@Anthony Gayden LOL, I have been very involved with Realtor Politics over the last 2 decades and trust me Tucson does not like to be framed as the little brother or secondary market in any way.Phoenix makes up 75% of the Real Estate Market in the state but hey let's not let numbers get in the way of our feelings. lol (Omaha/ Council Bluffs) I'm from Storm Lake, IA

I just listened in to a recent council meeting it looks like there may be some changes that might be coming up to the STR program in the area (permit parking system, 2 per bedroom max occupancy requirement, increased fines, maximum rooms available for rents etc).
