Many many layers showing through.If this was my own home, I would not be that concerned about having a painter scrap off any loose stuff and give it a good thick covering of fresh paint, leaving lead paint in place.Is this a bad idea in a rental?

She has linoleum in some spots and the carpet is the original from 1982.I’m looking for some recommendations for flooring installers, painters, and countertop vendors.

I called a painter and he said it cost 2k for the whole house.  

For example, a GC may have painters that are with them all the time and give the GC a premium rate.  

Finding a reliable agent is probably as hard as finding a reliable contractor or painter...

I bought all of it for $5 per gallon and my painters loved it.

I have met with several GCs, and individual repairmen (painters, roofers,etc.) as I am trying to determine best route (piece it all together or have GC handle it all). 

So, painter ($300, they had poorly repainted the trim around the doors and windows), cleaners $180, carpet cleaners $145, new mini blinds $80, lost rent $950, and a fair bit of time just dealing with everything.
