There are a lot of shady characters out there.Unless you have the time and experience doing this I would think long and hard before undertaking this. 

From there, you complete repairs (as minor or major as you decide to undertake and/or as the property warrants). 

I'm extremely interested in vacation rentals too but it seems a bit more complex than i might be able to undertake right now. 

The smartest people in my high school classes are today very successful without college degrees;  one is a graphic artist, and the other owns a car parts internet business.
