The reason I mention this is that about 80% of startup businesses fail each year.Many dream of opening a business but have never ran one day to day so the ideals they have of what they think it will be do not usually match up to the realities.It's a great idea for anyone wanting to start up a business to shadow an existing owner in the field to see if it is really what they want to do.

(This is reflected in your comments about suppliers seeing 50-60% decreases in their sales prices while retail prices have gone virtually unaffected)Not only will growers be limited to fewer potential customers, but I suspect that a lot of those who tried and failed to get into the industry on the retail side elected to enter on the supply side for the time being in order to get their foot in the door.So, if my theory is correct, that would mean the current dynamic is causing the appearance of a much lower demand and a much higher supply than you would otherwise see in a completely laissez-faire economy.

“Producing a ready able and willing buyer” does not trigger a commissions due on the day you “produce” the buyer.....at the earliest, thus clause would kick in after the buyer fails to perform and has been found to be in default, usually by arbitration, a court proceeding or mutual agreement between the buyer and seller.
